Statement

I have always had a special relationship with the image. Since my first spontaneous collages when I was very young to the digital montages I made when I was working in video editing and from the various attempts to capture a photo in the streets to the personal worlds I create through mixed media, the image has always been an obsession in my personal and artistic process. But despite the methods I may use everytime to create, what is esesntial is the concept behind. I am interested in what can not be seen, in what is insinuated. I am fascinated by the contrast and the details. I am intimidated by the way time passes and by the absence. I am looking for ways to fit memory into the present and what is lost into the on going. In the end, my aim is nothing but reflection and comunication, besides the pleasure in itself of the visual creation.
